The serious take here is that the Democrats in charge of Los Angeles still do not have functional control of the city.

The Los Angeles Police Department says a South L.A. AutoZone store was looted during a nearby street takeover early Saturday morning, the latest incident in a destructive trend occurring across the city.
And not for the first time,
Other examples of AutoZones being looted during street takeovers include one in June where a mob ransacked another South L.A. location and spray-painted expletives on an exterior wall.
Another similar incident occurred in the Historic South-Central neighborhood less than a week ago.
No arrests were reported in either of those two incidents.
Of course not. My question is, do the serial looters have something against AutoZone, or do they really like it because the stores are full of such great stuff, or both?
Here in Minnesota, a local AutoZone continues to be the object of a bizarre, left-wing conspiracy theory arising out of the 2020 George Floyd riots a half-decade ago.
When the south Minneapolis 3rd Precinct police station was abandoned to the rioters, the AutoZone across the street was an early casualty. The store has since been rebuilt and reopened on its original site (unlike the police station itself, or the local liquor store across the street).

Alas, the nonexistent (or, at least non-corporeal) man has never been caught, and the “real” reason behind the mostly-peaceful George Floyd riots remains an unfathomable mystery to many.
