Streets in an area of Glasgow have been locked down, and properties have been evacuated, with armed police swarming the scene amid an “ongoing incident”.
Pictures show armed officers at the scene on Drumlaken Street in the Summerston area of the major UK city. In a statement, Police Scotland said they attended an address at around 9.50am this morning (December 15) in connection with an “ongoing investigation”. A number of nearby properties have been evacuated as a precaution, while several streets, including Caldercuilt Road, between Arrochar Street and Rothes Drive, and Arrochar Street at Drumlaken Street, have been closed.
