Global Celebrations of Anti-Semitism | Power Line

Today is the second anniversary of Gaza’s sneak attack on Israeli civilians, one of the most horrific massacres in modern world history. Around the globe, anti-Semites gathered to celebrate the great victory for Islam that the October 7 massacre represents. What follows is a very partial list.

In England:

More than a dozen protests will be held at British universities to mark the October 7 anniversary.

They include events to “honour our martyrs” and celebrate “two years of resistance” since Hamas murdered more than 1,200 civilians and took a further 251 hostages. The protests are taking place days after an Islamist terror attack left two Jews dead at a synagogue in Manchester.

Tuesday’s protests, taking place in towns and cities including London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Bristol, include a “rally for Palestine” and vigils by candlelight.

Students from four London institutions will join an “inter-university march”, with the tagline “two years of genocide and our institutions remain complicit”.

At the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, those attending have been told to “grab your flag and your keffiyeh … two years on and we want justice”.

Two years on from what? One of the most horrific orgies of murder, torture and rape in modern history. Something to celebrate, indeed.

This is how anti-Semites in Australia celebrated the anniversary of Gaza’s massacre:

This commemoration of Hamas’s victory took place in Germany:

Such celebrations of Gaza’s coup took place around the globe. And, of course, the Gazans themselves celebrated the anniversary:

Hamas celebrated the October 7 Massacre as a “glorious day” in a message commemorating the two years since the terror group invaded southern Israel and massacred 1200 Israelis.

In my opinion, Israel treated Gaza too gently in the aftermath of the October 7 outrage. If Israel had responded with appropriately decisive force, Islamic extremists would not now be celebrating their “victory.”
