“Here, They’re Not Illegal Aliens”

Boy Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis presides over one of the most rapidly collapsing cities in America, along with Portland, Seattle and Chicago. But Frey’s own failures haven’t dented his enthusiasm for the Democratic Party’s agenda, including unquestioning support for illegal immigration:

Host Amy Hockert asked, “A lot of people read in the headlines in the last couple of weeks, the last week or so, this judge in Wisconsin who was arrested and then charged with obstructing an immigration operation at a courthouse. Would you support that kind of action here?”

Frey’s answer rambled:

I don’t know all the details of exactly what happened there. But I’ll tell you, it is very concerning when you have a federal administration going in to arrest someone from the judicial branch. We’ve got a separation of powers. That separation is there for a very important reason.

So that judges can break the law, with impunity, by aiding and abetting criminals? I haven’t heard that theory before.

And when someone who is in charge of interpreting the law is arrested by a federal administration, this is no small deal.

She wasn’t arrested for interpreting the law, she was arrested for aiding the escape of a violent illegal alien.

He continued, “And in Minneapolis, again, in Minneapolis, we also — we care about our neighbors, these are people that have lived here, in many cases, for decades.”

I think most of us will settle for getting rid of the 10 million whom Joe Biden invited in, starting with gang members and violent criminals.

These are residents, they work here, they’ve got kids here, and here, they’re not illegal aliens.

But you see, Jacob, they are illegal aliens. Immigration law is a federal matter. The City of Minneapolis doesn’t get to have its own immigration laws. And people–like judges and mayors–who frustrate the enforcement of federal law may well be criminals themselves.

I don’t know where this liberal arrogance comes from–the ignorant belief that they have a personal veto over the law, so that any law they disapprove of can be violated freely. If we are going to vindicate the rule of law, as President Trump is trying to do, some of those who take criminal actions to frustrate enforcement of our nation’s laws–like Judge Dugan–are going to have to go to prison. And politicians like Jacob Frey, if they are cautious enough to stay out of prison, are going to have to be defeated at the polls.
