A homeless man has been charged with decapitating a man and murdering his pregnant wife in their Melbourne home.
Athena Georgopoulos, 39, and Andrew Gunn, 50, were found dead by police – while bizarre graffiti was seen scrawled on the walls of their property.
The man has since been charged with two counts of murder and is set to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Footage of the arrest shows a man thought to be the suspect wearing a blood-stained white T-shirt.
He is gripped by an officer whilst on his knees, before being pulled to his feet on the station platform.
The station is six kilometres from the small property where the couple were found on Adrienne Crescent in Mount Waverley.

The street has since been closed off by police as they continue their investigation.
Police said they found the man’s decapitated corpse next to the dead woman inside the property.
Now, detectives are investigating graffiti found outside the house to see if it is related to the scene found inside.
The graffiti sprayed on the walls and fence of the property in luminous yellow, green and black spray paint, included phrases such as “U R Gay”, “Enough is Enough”, “Betrayal” and “Karma”.

Police have said the man was known to the couple, and is in custody being asked questions about the deaths.
At the time of her death, Georgopoulos was five months pregnant.
Post-mortems will take place on Wednesday, and both of the couple’s next of kin have been informed.
Georgopoulos’s aunt Patty Dilveridis told the Herald Sun: “She was so looking forward to having a baby, because she was 39 [and] she never thought she could have one.”
While a motive behind the alleged murder is not known, detectives have said they are not looking for anyone else in connection to the case at this time.
Detective Inspector Dean Thomas from the Homicide Squad said: “Police were called at about 9.20pm in relation to a welfare check at the address based on some yelling that was heard from the property.
“A second call was then made that suggested it was perhaps more urgent then the first call and police arrived minutes later, and obviously they found the male and female inside the premises deceased.”
He continued: “The person that we took into custody was in the company of two large dogs, I think that would look fairly obvious to people who may have been in the area.”
