Members of the terror group Al-Qaeda have launched an attack on a Yemeni military headquarters in the country’s governorate of Albyan. According to initial reports, 22 people were wounded or killed in the horror attack.
Taking to X, a self-proclaimed “southern revolutionary for the restoration of the South Arabian state”, wrote: “4 martyrs and 14 wounded from the heroes of our southern armed forces due to the cowardly terrorist operation with two car bombs in the Al-Mahfad Directorate, Abyan Governorate.” A journalist, meanwhile, wrote on the same platform: “A fierce attack targets the headquarters of the First Support and Reinforcement Brigade in Al-Mahfad Directorate, Abyan Governorate. We ask Allah to protect the heroes of our Southern Armed Forces.”
