A woman died after being pulled from a swimming pool at a gym in the UK. Emergency services rushed to the scene on Monday (June 2) but the woman, aged in her 60s, was pronounced dead.

She reportedly suffered a medical episode in the pool at Total Fitness in Preston. Paramedics pulled her from the pool at around 5.30pm but, despite their best efforts, she died at the scene. The gym remained closed on Tuesday night, but police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
