(LifeSiteNews) — The House Oversight Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcement voted Wednesday to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton to appear before the panel over the couple’s potential ties to Ghislaine Maxwell, accomplice to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
During an unrelated July 23 subcommittee hearing, Pennsylvania Republican Representative Scott Perry successfully moved to subpoena the Clintons over the couple’s alleged ties to Ghislaine Maxwell, who was also subpoened this week. The Clintons, particularly former President Bill Clinton, have long been tied to both Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
The motion also called for the subpoena of multiple former Department of Justice (DOJ) officials, including former FBI directors James Comey and Robert Mueller, and former Attorneys General Merrick Garland, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Jeff Sessions, William Barr, and Alberto Gonzales.
While formal subpoenas will still need to be officially issued by House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) before any of these individuals can testify, Comer indicated in an X post Thursday that he will issue them “in the near future.”
“The Oversight Committee is preparing subpoenas for these individuals and the Epstein files and will issue them in the near future,” he wrote.
🚨 I commend Representative Robert Garcia for being bipartisan in one of his first official acts as Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee by voting to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, William Barr,…

Earlier this week, Tennessee Republican Rep. Tim Burchett successfully moved to direct the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform to issue a subpoena for Ghislaine Maxwell. Comer announced Wednesday that her deposition will take place in the Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee, Florida, where she is imprisoned, on August 11.

Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in June 2022 by U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan, after being found guilty, among other charges, of transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy, and sex trafficking of a minor, in her assistance of Epstein’s sex trafficking activities.
As reported extensively by LifeSiteNews, Epstein and Maxwell had ties to several high-profile elites, including Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, and the Clintons. Epstein was a close friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton and notably helped launch the Clinton Global Initiative in 2005.
According to a 2016 Fox News report, court documents show Clinton flew on Epstein’s private plane at least 26 times between 2002 and 2003, at times ditching the Secret Service. Epstein also made multiple visits to the Clinton White House in the early ’90s.

Case documents unsealed in 2024 also revealed the testimony of witness and former Epstein masseuse Johanna Sjoberg, who relayed that Epstein “said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls.”
