Rep. Mike Quigley, a Democrat representing Illinois’ 5th District — which includes a swath of Chicago neighborhoods ranging from Lincoln Park to Albany Park — has once again showcased why he is a prime example of the leftist politicians undermining public safety and law enforcement in America today.
On Wednesday, Quigley brazenly took to social media to publicly expose the locations of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents operating in the Chicago area, posting details that could endanger federal officers.
Find someone who loves you as much as Democrat Rep Mike Quigley loves protecting foreign r*pists and t*rrorists.
This is legitimately deranged behavior.
If only @RepMikeQuigley cared about Americans as much as he cares about foreign criminals.

This isn’t some isolated slip-up or accidental leak. Quigley has made it crystal clear over the last year that he intends to aggressively shield illegal immigrants and block ICE officers from doing their jobs. In August, he attacked President Donald Trump on social media, writing, “Chicagoans will not be intimidated by a thug. I will do everything I can to protect my constituents.”

Despite tough crime challenges and the city’s ongoing struggles with gun violence, Quigley’s reflex is to undermine the agencies sent to help. Appearing on CNN on September 1, he slammed Trump’s intervention in Chicago, saying, “This is more an action of bluster and distraction of an autocrat.” He called the deployment of federal agents — even National Guard troops — a “distraction from inflation … foreign policy failures.”

He compared the tens of millions spent on these operations to the city’s inability to hire 2,000 new police officers, without acknowledging that federal agents target illegal immigration and violent crime directly linked to that unlawful activity. He claimed crime trends were “positive” in Chicago — ignoring widespread reports and statistics that many neighborhoods remain under siege.
Law enforcement officers face real danger from violent gang members and human traffickers daily. Quigley’s decision to share operational details jeopardizes that work and could embolden those who wish them harm.
If Quigley’s recent actions weren’t concerning enough, his past defense of using “hearsay” evidence during the 2019 Trump impeachment hearings raises further questions about his commitment to due process. Arguing that “hearsay can be much better evidence than direct,” Quigley suggested a willingness to prioritize political outcomes over evidentiary standards.

Uh ??
So not only are the Democrats ADMITTING their entire impeachment sham is based off of hearsay, but now they’re trying to defend it. What a joke! pic.twitter.com/14oYqp2UGJ

The bigger picture shows Quigley as more than just a local congressman. With rumors swirling about a possible 2027 run for Chicago mayor, his actions reveal a dangerous political ambition rooted in antagonizing law enforcement and pandering to radical elements hostile to law and order.
Don’t think anyone has noticed this yet, but an hour ago, #IL05 Congressman Mike Quigley updated his campaign finance page with the state of Illinois to show that he’s running for Mayor of Chicago in 2027.

Public safety depends on lawful immigration enforcement conducted professionally and transparently — something Quigley and his allies refuse to support. Instead, they weaponize identity politics and radical ideology to sabotage the agencies that keep citizens safe.
