Interpreting the News for Australians

For those who enjoy seeing my television appearances–I trust there are a few!–here are the two most recent. On Wednesday evening, I was on the Rita Panahi Show with Danica De Giorgio guest hosting. We talked about a number of things, including the Democrats’ fundraising woes, the Minneapolis school shooting, Trump’s crime crackdown, the possible closing of Alligator Alcatraz, Secretary Hegseth’s firing of the DIA head, and more. As you can see, I did the show from a hotel room, as I was in New Orleans for the State Policy Network’s annual meeting:

On Thursday, I was on the Media Show with Jack Houghton. He does a segment on the American media called Stars and Gripes. We discussed the Democrats’ branding problems, the John Bolton search, and aspects of the crime issue:

Explaining American news to Australians, in what I hope is a concise and accurate manner, is fun. Writing here every day gives me the background to talk about whatever the topics of the day may be.
