Presenter Stephen Dixon shared that he “really doesn’t know” what to expect from Rachel Reeves’ upcoming Budget on GB News.
Due to be delivered in the House of Commons on November 26, swirling speculation about possible tax rises has gripped the nation, spurring on widespread worry about potential raids as well as cuts.
Sharing his frank opinion, the GB News star said: “I really don’t know what the fallout from this is going to be. I really don’t.”
He further explained that he has a “theory” that Ms Reeves might “throw the towel in”, leading to mass destablisation across the markets.
“It would be chaos for the markets. It would be very destabilising for the markets,” he added.
Anne Diamond added in that it would cause further chaos for Sir Keir Starmer too, saying: “They always say if you lose your Chancellor, you’re the next to go, if you’re Prime Minister.”
“It will be the beginning of the end, I think. But I don’t know. I mean, I just don’t know. I’ve never known anything like it,” Stephen responded.
