Ivanka Trump Working Behind the Scenes for White House Gig: Report – RedState

Guess who appears to be making a return to the White House, at least working behind the scenes for an upcoming event next year? President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Despite her comments earlier this year, about staying as far away from the swamp and politics as possible after her dad was reelected for a second term as President of the United States, it appears the famed daughter is possibly dipping her toe a bit in D.C., working to put together the highly anticipated upcoming UFC event on the grounds of the White House in the summer of 2026.

According to Front Office Sports report:

Meanwhile, White says a much-discussed plan to stage a UFC event on the White House grounds next July is “definitely happening.” The high-profile fight card will be held in conjunction with celebrations of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, and White said the event will likely be shown on CBS. The developing effort is in part an outgrowth of the close relationship between White and U.S. President Donald Trump.

“I feel really good about how that’s progressing,” White told the outlet. “We’re actually heading [to Washington] at the end of August for meetings about it.”

“Ivanka [Trump] is also involved in this,” he added. “We’ll be making a presentation and then will look to hear back about what they like about it and don’t like.”

During President Trump’s first term, Ivanka was deeply involved in the administration from 2017 to 2021, overseeing various projects, including child trafficking crackdowns and community food bank efforts in collaboration with agricultural partners, among others.

Aside from making a few appearances, including during her father’s historic inauguration in January, Ivanka has been largely absent from the Trump White House this time around.

According to the previous White House website, Trump’s daughter served as an advisor to the president during his first term:

Ivanka Trump is Advisor to the President. In her role, she focuses on the education and economic empowerment of women and their families as well as job creation and economic growth through workforce development, skills training and entrepreneurship.

Prior to her father’s election as forty-fifth President of the United States, Ivanka oversaw development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization alongside her brothers Donald Jr. and Eric. Ivanka led some of the company’s largest and most complex transactions.

Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, have three children, Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore, and they live in Florida after relocating from Washington, D.C., in 2021.

During her appearance in January 2025 on the “Skinny Confidential/Him & Her” podcast, Ivanka made it clear she’d be staying out of politics this time around, because she knows the “cost” and it’s a price she’s not willing to pay. (54:29)

“I love policy and impact; I hate politics,” Ivanka said. “And unfortunately, the two are not separable. There is a darkness in that world that I don’t really want to welcome into mine.”

“It’s a very dark, negative business,” she added. “And some people love, like, the gladiator aspect of it. You know the fight, that was never me.”
