Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has cracked the code. The freshest face of the Democratic Party, who is now considering a 2026 Senate run, has figured out why people vote “the wrong way.” You may want to sit down for this, but according to Crockett’s massive brain, it’s because people are just so darn “uneducated.”

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, suggested in a new interview that most people don’t vote the way she thinks they should because they are not properly informed.
“Most people voted the wrong way because they were uneducated,” Crockett said on The Jamal Bryant Podcast “Let’s Be Clear,” released on Thursday.
“And that’s not to call them dumb,” Crockett clarified, explaining that real life gets in the way. “You’re trying to keep a roof over your head, keep food on the table, trying to make sure that your kids have what they need. And so you’re not tuned in.”
I love the qualification there. You see, she’s not calling voters “dumb” when she says they are uneducated. She just means they are too stupid to understand what they are voting for because they are busy keeping “food on the table.” Only Democrats have the proper level of education surrounding the issues to know how to make the proper decision. All we need is more schooling from people like Crockett, who undoubtedly know what’s best for us.
This is the same insulting garbage that helped usher in a 2024 landslide for Republicans, with Democrats losing the presidency and both chambers of Congress. It’s the false idea that every left-wing failure is a messaging failure. If only the Democratic Party had produced some slicker ads or described their policies “better,” then no way they would have lost.
“Educate, educate, educate, kick, drag, scream, do whatever you have to do, because we say every election is a matter of life and death,” Crockett said.
The arrogance of that statement is why Democrats are in the position they are in, and it’s a good way to keep losing elections.
For one, people despise being told they are too ill-informed to ascertain what’s best for themselves and their families. Much of the country still carries a sense of American individualism, and the last people who “know better” in their minds are Washington politicians, much less unimpressive do-nothings like Crockett. Secondly, it doesn’t matter how you dress them up, Democrat policies produce negative results that are obvious to everyone. There’s no amount of “education” that will change that. I’m also less than convinced that “kicking, dragging, and screaming” will be effective, but hey, I’m no political consultant.
You know what? I hope Crockett runs for Senate. It would be highly entertaining to see her flail on an even bigger stage, and while I’m hesitant to ever play with fire, I’m confident Texans would send her to an embarrassing defeat.
