British holidaymakers have something to look forward to as Jet2 reveals three new destinations for summer 2026.
The airline and tour operator is adding two fresh Greek spots and an Italian city to its roster, giving travellers more options for their sunshine getaways.
The Olympus Riviera and the island of Meganisi join Jet2’s Greek programme, whilst Palermo becomes their latest city break offering.
It’s all about giving people what they want – more authentic Greek experiences and exciting European city adventures. These additions come as Greece and Italy remain firm favourites with British tourists seeking summer sun.

The Olympus Riviera offers something special – mountains meeting the sea in northern Greece.
Travellers can fly to Thessaloniki from eight UK airports between April and October 2026, with services from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted.
It’s perfect for those who fancy mixing beach time with mountain adventures. Five resorts are ready to book, including Litochoro Plaka, Platamonas and Katerini Paralia, with hotels ranging from three to five stars.
There’s something for every budget too, from bed and breakfast to all-inclusive options. Villa lovers aren’t forgotten either – properties in Panteleimonas and Leptokarya are available through Jet2Villas.
Meganisi promises to be a real find for those seeking tranquillity. This tiny Ionian island sits just off Lefkas and remains one of Greece’s best-kept secrets.
Getting there involves flying to Preveza Airport from eight UK cities between May and October 2026. Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, London Luton, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle all offer routes, with ferry and shuttle transfers sorted for package holidaymakers.
The main resort of Vathy wraps around its harbour and has a lovely cosmopolitan atmosphere. Three and four-star hotels are available, whilst villa fans can book properties in Spartochori village through Jet2Villas.

Palermo in Sicily will become the latest city break option

Palermo joins the lineup as Jet2’s newest city break destination, with flights starting in May 2026. Birmingham offers weekly Wednesday services, Manchester gets twice-weekly flights on Tuesdays and Fridays, whilst Newcastle runs weekly Tuesday services until late October.
The Sicilian capital lets visitors blend beach relaxation with city exploration. Grand architecture, buzzing markets and fantastic local cuisine make it ideal for short breaks.
