Jewish Roots of American Liberty

My friend Wilfred McClay holds the Victor Davis Hanson Chair in Classical History and Western Civilization at Hillsdale College. He has now co-edited (with Rabbi Stuart Halpern of Yeshiva University) Jewish Roots of American Liberty, to be published next week by Encounter Books. I learned of the book from an advertisement in the new issue of the Claremont Review of Books.

Having written Bill to ask about the book yesterday morning, I was advised that Bill and Rabbi Halpern discuss the book in episode 100 of the Providence podcast with Robert Nicholson, editor-at large of Providence, co-founder and board member of Save Armenia, founder of The Philos Project, and co-founder of Passages Israel. The podcast was just posted the day before yesterday. Because the conversation turns to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, bears on current events, and is otherwise elevating, I am posting the podcast below.
