Just five days after Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband, Mark, were murdered, allegedly by a man who is also accused of trying to kill state Sen. John Hoffman (D) and his wife, Yvette, another incident of alleged politically motivated violence made headlines.
As we reported, Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), a Jewish Congressman who is into his second term, shared a video on his Twitter/X account on Thursday detailing what he said was a road rage incident that occurred in Rocky River, Ohio, involving a man who he said ran him off the road while yelling antisemitic threats and displaying a “Palestinian” flag.
“As I was driving to work, some unhinged, deranged man decided to lay on his horn and run me off the road, when he couldn’t get my attention, to show me a Palestinian flag, not to mention death to Israel, death to me, that he wanted to kill me and my family,” Miller stated.

Miller also noted in the video that “We know who you are, young man, and the police are going to be paying you a visit.”
As it turns out, the suspect turned himself in to the police and was arrested:
A suspect, Feras S. Hamdan of Westlake, Ohio, turned himself in to Rocky River police after Miller signed a criminal complaint for aggravated menacing and an arrest warrant was issued, Rocky River officials said.
Hamdan, whose attorney did not immediately respond to a message, pleaded not guilty Friday to the aggravated menacing charge, as well as an ethnic intimidation charge, Rocky River law director Michael O’Shea said.
OH – Jewish Congressman Max Miller says he was run off the road by pro-Palestine fanatic Feras Hamdan, a local doctor in Avon who has since turned himself in.

The judge in the case, Rocky River Municipal Court Judge Joseph Burke, did not mess around during Hamdan’s arraignment, putting a protective order in place for Miller and his family, telling Hamdan’s attorney that the suspect could face felony charges if his cellphone, where the Palestinian flag was allegedly displayed, was not turned over. Hamdan will also have to wear a GPS monitor.
Burke also noted the seriousness of the allegations:
Hamdan is charged with aggravated menacing and ethnic intimidation. It’s possible he will face additional charges.
“I don’t have to tell you last week, where we had two Minnesota senators were murdered, these are very serious charges, we’re talking about a sitting United States Congressman,” said Judge Joseph Burke. “These are real serious allegations here, and it’s not going to happen on my watch.”
He received a $500,000 cash-assured bond during his arraignment in Rocky River Municipal Court Friday.
Other agencies, including the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Ohio, are still investigating, and more charges could be forthcoming.
The pre-trial hearing date has been set for July 8th. We’ll be tracking the latest developments.
