Lemon aid | Power Line

Don Lemon enthusiastically covered the riot disrupting the Sunday service at Cities Church in St. Paul. With the threat of criminal prosecution now hanging over his head, Lemon has gone from coverage and participation to cover-up of his participation. That is what I take from Chuck Ross’s Free Beacon story “‘You Have To Make People Uncomfortable’: How Don Lemon Helped Anti-ICE Activists Storm a Minnesota Church.”

This is Ross’s introductory paragraph:

Disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon colluded with anti-ICE activists now under investigation for storming a Minnesota church on Sunday—a “clandestine” operation that Lemon helped keep secret ahead of time before publicizing it once it began.

Here is Ross’s concluding paragraph:

In an interview Monday, Lemon smeared the church as a bastion of “entitlement” and “white supremacy.”

“There is a certain degree of entitlement,” Lemon said in a podcast interview.

“I think people who are in religious groups like that, it’s not the type of Christianity that I practice, but that entitlement comes from a supremacy, a white supremacy.”

He went on to question how he “become the face” of the church operation, concluding that he is being targeted because he’s “a gay black man in America.”

Ross also reports: “Neither [ringleader Nekima Levy] Armstrong nor Lemon responded to requests for comment.”
