Welp, Justice Kagan, that sure didn’t age well, for you and the other liberals on the Supreme Court, that is.
We’ll get to Elena Kagan and comments she made in 2022 in a bit.
First, following the Supreme Court’s monster ruling on Friday that limited the authority of federal district courts and other lower courts to hand down decisions that impact or impede presidential policies or initiatives on a nationwide basis — in this case, the issue of birthright citizenship — the left has predictably been up in arms, making all kinds of ridiculous statements, some of which inadvertently confirm the higher court’s decision rather than attack it.
For example:

While radical leftist Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson might not understand the reasoning behind stopping lower courts from judicial overreach, Justice Kagan does — at least she did in 2022, when she perfectly explained why district judges should be barred from handing down decisions that impact national decisions made by the executive branch.
Check it out:
It can’t be right that one district court, whether it’s in the Trump years … the Biden years, and it just can’t be right that one district judge can stop a nationwide policy in its tracks, and leave it stopped for years — that it takes to go through the normal process.
Oops. Moreover, that’s not how Kagan voted on Friday.
.@ScottJenningsKY is right. Kagan said in 2022:
“It just can’t be right that one district judge can stop a nationwide policy in its tracks.”
She didn’t vote that way today. https://t.co/LSdEPSX5im pic.twitter.com/IEgvhhWs2C

So what was the deal, Justice Kagan? Why did you, in 2022, make a perfect case against district courts handing down decisions that stop nationwide policy dead in its tracks, yet on Friday, make a 180-degree U-turn and vote against stopping district courts from doing so?
Why, it couldn’t be hypocrisy, could it? Of course it is, proving yet again that the Democrat Party is the most hypocritical group of people on the face of the earth.

While I suppose that many people are sometimes hypocritical — to a degree, at least — why has the Democrat Party for decades been so blatant in its “special” kind of hypocrisy?
First, while I’ve long held that the Democrat Party would never again win a presidential election if Democrat candidates told the truth about their real intentions, it’s also become painfully apparent (for the left, that is) that the party is devoid of ideas and initiatives truly designed to make America a better place.
As a result, Democrats have reduced themselves to attacking conservatives, in a twisted way, to suggest to America: “While we might not deliver everything we promise, just think how worse off you’d be if you didn’t have us to protect you from the evil Republicans” kind of way.
Then toss in Donald Trump — the devil incarnate in the eyes of the TDS-riddled left — and there you have it.
But a Supreme Court justice? While radical leftist Ketanji Brown Jackson is one thing, Elena Kagan, who is a liberal for sure, is another. She made a cogent argument against lower courts making nationwide decisions, just three years ago. Then she turns around and votes against the very argument she made.
Why? The power of Trump and his impact on the left? Yeah, let’s go with that.
Editor’s Note: Radical leftist judges are doing everything they can to hamstring President Trump’s agenda to make America great again.
