A car striking the Liverpool title parade is not terror-related, investigators have told GB News.
GB News Home and Security Editor Mark White revealed information from his source.
He said on GB News: “I’m just hearing from a senior source now that investigators at this stage do not believe this was a terrorist-related incident.
“This does not mean it was not a deliberate act. There are lots of potential motivations for why someone might be involved in a deliberate act that is not necessarily terrorism as we have seen multiple times in the past.

“But at this early stage, those investigators do not believe the avenue this investigation is taking them down is one towards terrorist-related incident.
“The caveat is worth repeating. That does not mean this was not deliberate. We might get some confirmation from this press conference we get later tonight.
“It’s an important line and worth repeating one more time. Investigators, at this stage, do not believe this was terrorist-related.”
