According to Inrix, ‘severe delays’ are continuing while recovery work is completed on the M25 anticlockwise near J7 (M23), after an earlier crash.
In an update just after 3.30pm, Inrix said: “Severe delays and one lane closed and the entry slip road is partially blocked due to recovery work, emergency road surface repairs, oil spillage and earlier accident on M25 anticlockwise after J7 (M23 Interchange).”
“Congestion to J9 (Leatherhead), and back onto the M23 northbound. There are also delays through Reigate and South Godstone as traffic seeks an alternative. Lane one (of four) remains closed, with the entry slip restricted. clear up and repair works are now underway.”
