An entire section of a motorway has been blocked after a multi-vehicle crash on the M3 during the rush hour on Friday. The accident occurred between the junction for Bagshot and Lightwater, and the M23.
Motorists on the road are facing a delay as all the traffic has been held on M3. Traffic monitoring site Inrix said at 7.52am: “M3, Surrey, northbound. All traffic being temporarily held and long delays due to multi-vehicle accident on M3 Northbound from J3 A322 (Lightwater/Bagshot) to J2 M25 J12.”
It is not yet known how many vehicles have been involved or if any injuries have been reported.
