A crash on the M4 has brought traffic at a standstill, causing potential issues to people heading to Bristol Airport. Traffic temporarily stopped on the M4 eastbound between J20 with the M5 and J19, the M32 turn off to Bristol, due to a collision, National Highways said this afternoon.
The crash, which prompted emergency services to rush to the area, happened shortly before 11.30am, traffic monitoring service Inrix said. Long queues began to form in the area, with people heading to the major UK airport being urged by National Highways to “allow plenty journey time” in order not to miss their flights.
