Emergency services, including police and an air ambulance, rushed to north Manchester on Sunday, June 8, after a “serious incident”. Police and paramedics headed to Nevin Road in the New Moston area, where a large cordon was put in place. The area outside the Fairway Inn pub was also cordoned off.
Pictures from the scene show a large police presence and the cordon in place. No details have so far been provided by Greater Manchester Police. The Manchester Evening News’ Crime reporter John Scheerhout said residents claimed to him a “teenage boy was stabbed” in the grounds of a pub, before he ran off into “a house in Nevin Road”.
