More Havoc With Protesters at Newark ICE Facility Again – RedState

We reported on the chaos that three Democratic House members from New Jersey caused at an ICE detention facility in Newark last Friday. Democrats claimed they did nothing, but then the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released video that showed otherwise.

The DHS said they were still investigating the incident. They have not ruled out further arrests. The Mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, was arrested when it happened on Friday.

Meanwhile, Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, one of the three, put her foot in her mouth by talking too much. She said they interceded to “shield” Newark Mayor Ras Baraka when he was arrested for trespassing.

Democrat New Jersey Congresswoman Digs Deeper Hole in Describing Actions at ICE Detention Facility

It should be noted that the members of Congress were there on Friday with protesters who were also trying to get into the facility.

On Monday, protesters were out in front of the ICE facility again.

They blocked an entrance to prevent vehicles from going in and out. They must have grabbed all the old hippies in New Jersey, because this is quite something. Listen as they sing, “Fascism’s got to go!”

That’s hilarious, this is my favorite video to mock today. They don’t even know what fascism is, if they think enforcing the law is “fascism.”

Watch this lady reaching out with a sign that tells illegal aliens being transported in a van that she loves them. She even blows them kisses.

At least two ambulances tried to get in, but were unable to, according to Fox News.

The protesters condemned the detention of the people in the facility.

DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin told Fox in response to the action, “Who do they want released from Delaney Hall? The child rapists, murderers, drug traffickers, MS-13 gang members or known terrorists?”

But as with all such protests, the situation deteriorated, and people were arrested. Notice some in keffiyehs – easy for switching to any protest.

They need to have consequences for these actions to scotch these efforts. They can’t interfere with the ability to get in and out of the facility. And anyone who assaulted a federal officer in either of these incidents has to be held accountable.
