Morrisons launches brand-new service this week with further changes in the pipeline

As many Britons take advantage of the school holidays and embark on their summer travels, Morrisons has introduced a service to commemorate the nation’s trips.

A brand-new photo printing system will enable shoppers to transform their images into customised products starting from £1.99.


The supermarket chain announced the launch this week, offering customers the ability to create personalised mugs, phone cases, calendars, and various other items.

The service is available now through Morrisons’ website across the UK, with orders delivered within four to five working days for a modest delivery charge.

New customers can benefit from a 10 per cent reduction on their initial purchase by applying the code WELCOME10 at checkout.

Morrisons has positioned the service as an affordable option for converting cherished photographs into gifts, particularly with the summer holiday season approaching.

The product range encompasses posters beginning at £1.99, coasters and magnetic stickers at £5.99 each, and keychains at the same price point.

Customers can also order tote bags for £7.99, panoramic mugs at £9.99, and bottle openers priced at £14.99.

Mobile phone covers for iPhone and Samsung devices start from £15.99, while landscape A3 calendars are available for £20.99.

The company emphasised that these products combine competitive pricing with quality, making them suitable for transforming personal photographs into presents.

Orders placed through the website require customers to upload their chosen images from home before selecting their preferred products.

Physical kiosks will be introduced in approximately 300 Morrisons stores throughout Britain during the coming twelve months, allowing shoppers to place orders for customised products during their regular grocery visits.

This photo printing initiative forms part of the supermarket’s wider strategy to enhance customer convenience through expanded in-store services.

“Morrisons continues to innovate and respond to customer needs by providing services that offer a broad range of convenient, value-driven services both in-store and online,” the retailer told customers.

The supermarket already hosts Wash.Me laundromats, Amazon and parcel collection points, Timpson key cutting facilities and pharmacy services in more than 100 locations.

The pharmacy offerings include repeat prescription services, emergency medication supplies, travel health consultations and general healthcare guidance, demonstrating the retailer’s commitment to providing comprehensive services beyond traditional grocery shopping.

Commenting on the supermarket’s new photo printing systems, John Parry, head of services at Morrisons, said: “We’re always looking for ways to provide the services our customers want and need, while making everyday moments more meaningful.

“Summer holidays are always full of memories, and our photo printing helps customers turn them into personalised gifts that they can cherish at an affordable price.”

In other Morrisons news, the supermarket recently unveiled a brand-new dessert range “sure to impress guests”.

The supermarket chain is tempting customers with six new premium treats, each priced at £2.50.

In a move that is sure to delight cost-conscious shoppers, the retailer is offering any two patisserie items for just £4.
