Here we go again. From The Hill newspaper,
Motive sought in Dallas ICE facility shooting.
They report,
Federal and local authorities are still working to determine a motive after a gunman opened fire on an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas on Wednesday.
One detainee was killed and two others were critically injured in the incident. The suspected shooter, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A clue?
At least one unused bullet recovered by federal investigators was allegedly inscribed with the words “ANTI-ICE.”
If that was his intent, he missed. So, we fall back on bothsidesism,
Politicians and commentators were quick to point fingers across the aisle, debating whether the left or right is more to blame for a perceived rise in political violence. The shooting comes just two weeks after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated in Utah.
“Perceived”? It’s as if scores of these guys have been suddenly activated. Before the latest incident, commentator Richard Fernandez wrote, about the rash of recent incidents, specifically on the would-be golf course Trump assassin Ryan Routh,
If you have a million listeners and condition them, perhaps at least some of them will respond to trigger words. Nazi. Nazi. Fascist. Fascist.
He adds,
The message is broadcast and the susceptibles respond. Then when a guy like Routh gets taken away from the conditioning he “snaps out of it”, and suddenly finds himself in a court room with this horrible realization.
The search for “truth” goes on.
