It’s the scenario that none of us were hoping to see as the Democrats’ Schumer partial government shutdown continues. Is this a result of their shutdown, or just a coincidence?
In any case, it was a serious incident, one that strikes fear into the hearts of all of us:
An Air Canada flight collided with a vehicle while landing at LaGuardia Airport on Sunday night, leaving at least two people critically injured, reports said.
The flight from Montreal was landing at around 11:40 pm when the aircraft struck a Port Authority vehicle on the runway, a Port Authority spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Mail.
The aircraft struck the rescue vehicle while it was responding to a separate incident, the spokesperson added.

Not much more is known at this time, but I can tell you that it hits me hard because I just sent one of my daughters back from Spring Break to the NY area. She travelled through Newark, but it’s close enough that it still hits home.
There are three main NYC airports: LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark. This could have happened at any one of them. Although this has not been confirmed yet, some reports are saying that there are multiple casualties:
