Nobel Peace Prize tipped for President for THIRD time after ‘ending 3 wars’

Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for a third time after helping bring an end to three different conflicts.

The President, who vowed to be a “peacemaker” in his second term in the White House, has so far been tipped for the medal by three different countries: Pakistan, Israel and now Cambodia.

Just days ago, a long-running southeast Asian dispute boiled over as Cambodia and Thailand traded blows on their borders.

Some 43 people were killed in the conflict – but Trump rang Thailand’s Acting PM Phumtham Wechayachai on July 26 to cool things down before a ceasefire was agreed two days later.

Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol thanked Trump for intervening and said he deserved to be nominated for the prize.

Then, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said her boss made it happen.

Trump had ensured Pakistan kept up a ceasefire with India after fierce clashes erupted between the two after a terrorist attack in April.

“At a moment of heightened regional turbulence, President Trump demonstrated great strategic foresight and stellar statesmanship through robust diplomatic engagement with both Islamabad and New Delhi which de-escalated a rapidly deteriorating situation,” the south Asian nation’s Government said.

The US President could have secured four nominations – but a high-ranking Ukrainian politician withdrew his in June over fears Trump would never stop Russia’s war against Kyiv.

Oleksandr Merezhko, the head of Ukraine’s parliamentary foreign committee, claimed he had “lost any sort of faith and belief” that Trump could stop the war – which, on the campaign trail, he had promised to do in just one day.

“No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!” Trump said.

The Nobel Peace Prize is awarded annually on December 10 on the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death.

The ceremony is held in Norwegian capital Oslo.
