Surprising absolutely no one, New York City voters chose to elect Zohran Mamdani, an unabashed soft-on-crime Democrat Socialist, to serve as the Big Apple’s next mayor, handing former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who stayed in the race after losing the primary on the Fight and Deliver Party ticket he created, an embarrassing but inevitable defeat some four years after a sexual harassment scandal caused the former so-called “Luv Guv” resign in disgrace.
Though votes are still being counted, DDHQ has called the race for the pro-Hamas state assemblyman.

When sworn in, the AOC/Sanders-backed Mamdani will replace the city’s current mayor, Democrat Eric Adams, who ran as an independent candidate but dropped out of the race in late September and later endorsed Cuomo in part on grounds that Mamdani would not protect the city’s Jewish voters.
President Trump also ended up endorsing Cuomo, posting the following message related to the ex-governor on Truth Social on Monday:
We must also remember this — A vote for Curtis Sliwa (who looks much better without the beret!) is a vote for Mamdani. Whether you personally like Andrew Cuomo or not, you really have no choice. You must vote for him, and hope he does a fantastic job. He is capable of it, Mamdani is not!

So… Democrats elect a guy who wants to murder his political opponents as AG in VA, and are poised to elect an antisemitic, pro-Hamas mayoral candidate in the city with the largest Jewish population in the world. So much for the “NoH8” phoniness.
