Barack Obama stumped at a rally for Democratic Virginia gubernatorial candidate, Abigail Spanberger, on Saturday.
Spanberger is still leading the Republican candidate, Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, in the polls, but if they’re pulling out Obama, you know that they must think they need to.
Obama argued you should vote for Spanberger because “she knows that if we want to make progress on the things that we care about, we have to be able to disagree without calling each other nasty names or demonizing each other.”

Yet who was also there speaking at the rally? The very guy behind the disturbing text scandal, their candidate for Attorney General, Jay Jones. So if Obama is calling out demonizing each other, why is he appearing at the same rally with Jay Jones? How can anyone take anything Obama or Spanberger says seriously, when they’re still appearing with him? They truly have no shame.

What a big example that Democrats have no principles.

“We’ve got a president who thinks it’s okay to use the Justice Department…to go after his political opponents,” Obama asserted. Imagine the nerve of making that kind of a statement. He had other spin as well.

Imagine the hypocrisy and absolute irony of this statement:
Healthcare premiums for millions of people are about to double or even triple next year. Meanwhile, the government is shut down, and the Republicans who currently are in charge of Congress, they’re not even pretending to solve the problem. They have not even been showing up to work. Not in session. Where are you? What are you doing?
And as for the president, he has been focused on critical issues like paving over the Rose Garden so folks don’t get mud on their shoes, and gold-plating the Oval Office, and building a $300 million ballroom.
Um, Obama forced Obamacare down our throats, and it was not affordable care. The argument over the subsidies has exposed that, big time. And it’s the Democrats who are behind the shutdown, so how is that on the Republicans? The GOP put out a clean continuing resolution. Democrats refuse to vote for it, and they don’t care who may be hurt in the process.
Obama is also not telling the truth about the rest of that. Trump did not “pave over the Rose Garden” – he put in limestone tiles so that Rose Garden events don’t have people’s shoes sinking in the mud. All the roses are still there, and in better condition, because of the efforts of First Lady Melania Trump.
Plus, Trump got private donors and companies to donate the money for the ballroom because the White House needed the event space. As we reported, even the Washington Post said it was a good idea and that “privately,” Obama and Biden officials admitted that. So Trump got the United States a needed event space that can be used, in perpetuity, for free. Democrats think that’s something to attack, which explains why they are failures and why Obama talked a lot, but failed to get things done. They should be praising Trump for what he did for the country.
As we noted with Obama, he seems to have trouble even getting up his presidential center without issues.

Obama is also going to New Jersey to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Mikie Sherrill. The race there is very close, and the Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli may just pull off an upset victory.
The Democrats are worried because Trump has made gains in both New Jersey and Virginia, and improved his votes with black and Hispanic voters. They should be worried, because the American public rightly views them as extreme. You even saw Obama embracing the unembraceable, New York City mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, calling his campaign “impressive.“
Let’s get out and vote, and make sure that the extremists do not get into office.
