See if you can spot the errors in Ilhan Omar’s Instagram video responding to the Free Beacon and other reports that her net worth is now in a range of $6 million-$30 million. It’s difficult to take her hectoring condescension as she ladles out the misinformation with a dollop of vulgarity for good measure. This is the Minnesota Fifth District fraudster we have come to know since August 2016.
The Free Beacon’s Andrew Kerr patiently addresses Omar’s false and misleading statements in the story “Ilhan Omar Issues Error-Ridden Denial of Free Beacon Report on Her Skyrocketing Net Worth.” Subhead: “‘Learn to read before you post misleading shit,’ Omar says in misleading video.”

One of Mynett’s firms, a creative agency called EStreetCo, failed to pay its fair share of taxes in 2021, the Free Beacon reported. The IRS filed a tax lien against the company in January 2023 seeking nearly $206,000 in unpaid income, Social Security, and Medicare taxes the firm accumulated in 2021. Though there are no records showing the IRS has released the lien, a spokesman for EStreetCo told the Free Beacon on Wednesday that the bill had been paid in full.
And of course: “Omar’s office did not return a request for comment.”
Need I add that this is yet another instance of a Minnesota story going national while bypassing the pages of the Star Tribune? I’m afraid I do.
