THE man who claims to have the highest IQ in the world has taken to the social-media platform X to profess his Christian faith in a post that has gone viral.
Dr YoungHoon Kim, from South Korea, claims to have an IQ of 276, almost twice the score of 140 which is considered indicative of genius. On his profile on X, he identifies himself as “the World’s Highest IQ Record Holder” as verified by Guinness World Records.
He posted last week: “As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life.”

The post received 21.5 million views. Responding to comments, Dr Kim wrote in another X post that he “will use this opportunity to lead many souls to God”.
He followed this with a series of posts about his faith. “As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I analyzed every ideology and philosophy. I conclude that only Christianity provides a logically sound solution to the problem of evil, suffering, and salvation.”
In another, he wrote: “I believe the Bible is the perfect, eternal, and final Word of God. Therefore, the Bible doesn’t need to be updated. The world needs to catch up.”
Dr Kim is founder and chief executive of NeuroStory, an organisation dedicated to finding “AI-powered brain health solutions”, which is backed by the South Korean government. He also founded United Sigma Intelligence Association, which has been described as a non-profit organisation for “the world’s brightest minds,” with notable members including Richard Dawkins.
