As we glide into 2026, in Portland, Oregon, we are treated to examples of “import the Third World, get the Third World,” the uselessness of restraining orders, and the stupidity of “defund the police” groups, all in one case. That case involved a goblin named Mohamed Adan, who had spent time behind bars for brutally beating his girlfriend. A Portland bail fund put him out on the street after his penultimate arrest, and now his girlfriend, the mother of three, is dead.
An abusive boyfriend viciously stabbed and strangled the mother of his children to death while out on bail — which was posted by a Portland defund-the-police group, authorities said Wednesday.
Mohamed Adan, 36, had been behind bars for repeatedly beating his girlfriend, Racheal Abraham, in August 2022, when the now-defunct group of police abolitionists set him free, according to oregonlive.com
“The Portland Freedom Fund, thinking it knew better than law enforcement professionals, decided to bail him out,” senior prosecutor Melissa Marrero said at his sentencing hearing Tuesday. “It cost her her life.”
Racheal Abraham, by the way, was born Rachael Angel Manwarren, and changed her name after converting to Islam. It’s not known if the conversion was at the urging of Mohamed Adan.
And the worst part is that this was entirely predictable. In fact, Racheal Abraham did predict it:
Abraham, 36, who had two kids with Adan, had begged a judge not to release him after he strangled and punched her twice in the head while high on methamphetamine and cocaine in May 2022, the paper reported.
“Statistics show that strangulation cases lead to homicide,” Abraham said in a statement, read aloud in court roughly two months before she was murdered. “I don’t want to be a victim.”
The Portland Freedom Fund paid Adan’s bail, although it’s a mystery why any bail was granted in a case like this; Adan, frankly, should have remained behind bars until his trial. But he wasn’t; Judge Jerry Hodson granted his release, with a no-contact order that wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on, and a GPS ankle monitor that Adan immediately removed.
There’s a lot of blame to throw around in this case, but aside from the now-convicted killer himself, the primary enablers of this atrocity are the Portland Freedom Fund.

So, who was the Portland Freedom Fund? Independent journalist Andy Ngo has more:

If you noticed from Mr. Ngo’s X post, yes, that’s the black raised-fist logo so often used by Antifa and Antifa-affiliated groups. At his own site, Mr. Ngo writes:
The Portland Freedom Fund was founded by far-left activist Amanda Lea Trujillo (née McDonald). The group infamously paid the $2.1 million bail for violent Portland Antifa militant Malik F. Muhammad, who was convicted of multiple counts of attempted murder for trying to burn people to death with firebombs during the riots. Trujillo serves as the secretary of the Respond to Racism 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is involved with the Colorado Freedom Fund.
Takeaways: Restraining orders and no-contact orders are worthless. Goblins like Mohamad Adan couldn’t care less about a written order telling them “don’t go out and murder your girlfriend.” GPS ankle monitors are likewise useless. Goblins like Mohamed Adan can easily remove them and then go out and murder their girlfriend.
The only stroke of good luck in all this is that Racheal Abraham’s children are unharmed, at least, physically.
In the end, on Tuesday, Mohamed Adan was sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole in 25 years. Honestly, this goblin should never again breathe free air. But there was 1) a clear pattern of escalating abuse by him before the murder and 2) involvement by a far-left group supporting domestic terrorists.
This shouldn’t have happened. But it did. And as long as soft-on-criminal policies are in place, things like this will keep happening.
