Prince Harry torn apart by US star over security drama – ‘Go and get a job’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Royal commentator Link Lauren didn’t hold back when discussing Prince Harry‘s calls for armed security when visiting the UK in the latest episode of his podcast, Spot On With Link Lauren, which was released on Thursday. “If you don’t know, Prince Harry has been fighting to get taxpayer-funded security when he is in the UK,” the host began, claiming the royal “didn’t feel safe” without it. Link then tore the Prince apart as he fumed: “He’s a spoiled brat – he needs to go get a job like the rest of us. Get a job. You have been a prince for what? 45 years? It may be time for you to find out how the real world operates.”

Adding more context to his argument, the content creator continued: “Prince Harry has reportedly won his fight for armed police protection in the UK.”

His remarks come after sources close to the Sussexes told The Daily Mail that the reinstatement of security has been assured following a risk assessment. They added: “It’s now a formality. Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is now nailed on for Harry.”

After reading the source quotes to viewers, the podcaster raged: “So long story short, Harry is going to be getting the taxpayer-funded security that he should not be getting. Prince Harry, you’ve got like £100million from Netflix, a bestselling book where you discussed inner workings and secrets…”

He then told viewers it is not the taxpayers’ job to pay for Harry’s security as part of his blistering attack on the royal.

“With modest investments, you can pay for your own security or stay in California at the compound,” he continued. “I think Harry is having buyer’s remorse, as I think he wants to be back in the fold of the Royal Family.”

Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020 to start a new life in California with their two young children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie.

Harry’s last risk assessment took place that year, before he left the UK with Meghan. Last May, he lost a High Court battle that would have reinstated police protection, but a new review was carried out last month.

The Prince’s representatives have been contacted by Express.co.uk for comment.
