A member of the public who witnessed the sweet moment told HELLO!: “Louis snatched it right out of William’s hands. He did a little twirl and hugged it.
“He didn’t seem to want to move on. He didn’t want to let that one go.”
This was not the only present the seven-year-old prince was given by the public on Christmas Day, with Louis given plenty more chocolates and presents.
This was the same with his siblings Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 10, who also spent time talking to royal fans during the walkabout.
