Princess Beatrice insider breaks silence on marriage trouble claims | Royal | News

A source has told People Magazine, in two blunt words, that the marriage troubles are “complete nonsense”. It’s been a stressful few months for Beatrice’s parents, who both appear in the US Department of Justice’s Epstein files release of files related to the investigation into the convicted sex offender.

Being named, however, does not prove any wrongdoing and neither have been charged in connection with the release of the Epstein files.

Released emails suggested that the former Duchess of York discussed plans to bring her daughters to lunch with the convicted sex offender following his release from a Florida prison in 2009.

The Daily Mail claimed that the turmoil was driving a wedge between Princess Beatrice and her Italian property developer husband. The source said: “Things haven’t been great for a while between them, but Beatrice has been determined to soldier on and forge a path through.

“Beatrice is quite different from her sister. She really wants to almost naively see the good in people and will turn a blind eye to uncomfortable truths — that is why she was blind to her father’s behaviour, and the same is true of her belief in Edo.”

“She wants to stay together, but he seems more and more distracted by work and travel. Just when she needs him most, he’s been pulling away.”

A series of photos and videos posted to the Banda Instagram account showed him touring the oceanic views and stunning architecture in Florida.

Edoardo is descended from Italian nobility and, as the eldest son of Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, will one day inherit his family’s ancestral seat, the 18th-century Villa Mapelli Mozzi palazzo in northern Italy.
