My antipathy to the Star Tribune and our lame local press in the Twin Cities has kept me going on Power Line for lo, these many years. We have been following the mind-boggling story of Wilson Tindi through the work of Jenna Gloeb at Alpha News and Bill Glahn’s digging here on Power Line and over at American Experiment. Yesterday afternoon Bill capped his latest installment of the story with this keeper, which can serve as our shot this morning:
The story began as an Alpha News exclusive and has stayed that way, with not one legacy media outlet picking up the story, which literally has everything.
If only Tindi, age 42, had done something truly transgressive, truly outrageous, like vote Republican, then his story could be told.
In an update to his post, Bill notes that KSTP’s Tom Hauser got around to the story in his own way last night. Liz Collin of Alpha News supplies the chaser to Bill Glahn’s shot:
“Just as questions were being asked..” @KSTP @thauserkstp?
You mean by @Jenna_Gloeb and @AlphaNewsMN?
You call your work “journalism”? pic.twitter.com/AF78PIwqN9

Hauser refers to “questions being asked.” That formulation allows him to avoid citation to the work of Jenna Gloeb and Alpha News. However, Jenna actually reported the Tindi story. She wasn’t just “asking questions.” Hauser doesn’t even get that straight.
Readers with a photographic memory may recall that, when last seen on Power Line, Hauser was instructing me in good manners. Hauser’s contribution to the story of Wilson Tindi puts me in mind of Dan Aykroyd’s impersonation of James Jackson Kilpatrick on Saturday Night Live: “Jane, you ignorant slut.” Tom, you graceless slug.
