The latest Rasmussen Reports poll on the nation’s direction shows “right direction” in the green, by a margin of 48-47. It marks the first time that Rasmussen, or any other pollster, has shown a net positive number since February.

Likewise, today’s Rasmussen poll on Pres. Trump’s job approval has him above water at 52-46. He has been at or above level for the past four weeks.

The stock market (S&P 500 index) was up today, and is back into positive territory for the year.

On a down note, the UK Daily Mail reports,

Between April 26 and May 15, major lenders including Santander, US Bank and Wells Fargo were among the eight banks to notify the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) of planned closures.

Banks are required to alert the OCC before shutting down a branch and the agency then publishes the filings in a weekly report.

The notices involve some 36 branches across America. New York saw more announced closures than any other state.
