Russia has hit a British Council building in an attack on Kyiv, as overnight missiles leave at least 14 people dead.
Vladimir Putin blitzed Ukraine’s capital city with hypersonic missiles and 629 drones as the war rages on despite peace talks held in the US.
Two missiles were fired into the building, located on Zhylyanska Street, approximately 20 seconds apart.
Although the British Council operates independently, it receives funding from the Foreign Office.

The building’s windows were shattered, with glass and debris scattered on the street.
Another building that was occupied by the European Union’s delegation to Kyiv was also struck during the attack.
Residents and emergency workers helped clear rubble from the streets in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The strikes mark the second-largest drone attack of the entire war, despite his talks with US President Donald Trump to end the conflict.
