A mob of teenagers plunged a US petrol station into chaos as youths stormed the store and vandalised its aisles.
On March 19 in Sacramento, California, a Chevron station on Folsom Boulevard fell victim to a marauding group of teens.
Police said officers received a call that between 25 and 30 juveniles were involved in the incident.
CCTV footage shows a large group of teenagers throwing snacks and ransacking the store, with a single employee, store manager Shailesh Chand, left to handle the chaos alone.
Days later on March 23, Sacramento police filed a robbery report for the items stolen during the incident.
Surveillance video showed a small group of teenagers entering the store before the incident quickly escalated.
What started as a small group turned into dozens of teenagers knocking items off shelves, throwing snacks and drinks and wrecking aisles.
Mr Chand told Fox 40 KTXL the teens “feel that they can just walk in any store and pick up things and throw things and do whatever they can do and run away”.

He said he was left shaken as the situation spiralled out of control.
Snacks including crisps and sweets were thrown through the aisles – while Mr Chand was forced to endure the teenagers lobbing candy directly at him.
He added that incidents which went beyond typical shoplifting were becoming more frequent.
“People who do all these things, they tend to be hostile, also aggressive,” the store manager said.

The store has had to repair its doors multiple times in recent months due to similar aggressive incidents, Mr Chand said.
He said the business was already suffering losses as a result of the current economy.
“With the current fluctuations of gas price, it’s kind of hard to survive in this business,” he added.
Sacramento Police Department said the group may be connected to other disturbances that same night.
It added that it did not immediately respond to the Chevron incident because a formal report was not yet filed.
Another Chevron gas station in Los Angeles, California was ransacked in similar fashion in August last year.
The store owner said about two dozen high schoolers had took snacks and beer in what was described as a “premeditated, organised” theft.
The investigation into the Sacramento incident remains ongoing.
