(LifeSiteNews) — In a discussion on “The Katie Miller Podcast” recently, actor Sylvester Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin offered her theory of why so many celebrities have transgender-identifying children.
“I just think Hollywood is, you know, it’s all about expression,” Flavin said. “So, you know, however you want to express yourself. If you feel like a cat today, you’re a cat. And it’s so loosey-goosey.”
“I don’t think that we’re really understanding that these kids are not our accessories,” Flavin went on. “They’re little human beings that need structure. And structure is really important for them because it helps their brain organize everything.”
In the last few years, a staggering number of celebrity kids have declared themselves “transgender.” Actress Cynthia Nixon’s daughter identifies as “transgender,” as does Khary Payton’s daughter. The daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner “came out” as “transgender” last year. Jennifer Lopez’s daughter uses gender-neutral pronouns.
Most recently, the son of Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts declared himself “transgender,” and Schreiber has made much of how proud he is of it in interviews.
“I suppose the most profound moment was her [him] asking us to change her [his] pronouns,” he said. “[It] didn’t feel like that big of a deal because Kai had been feminine for so long. Kai is such a fighter. It’s important that she [he] goes, ‘Hey, I am trans’ and ‘Look at me’ and ‘F–k you. F–k off.’”
Charlize Theron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Robert De Niro, and Gabrielle Union all have children who identify as “transgender” or “non-binary,” as well.
Jennifer Flavin, however, argues that the astronomical wealth celebrity kids grow up with, along with the lack of structure, generates confusion. “There’s just too much of everything,” she said. “It gets really confusing for a little person.” Flavin has three adult daughters with Stallone.
“I mean, my daughters were tomboys,” Flavin said. “They preferred to wear pants than dresses, you know? And they loved sports. But I never said, ‘Oh, you’re a boy now.’ I just said, ‘You love to play sports, you love to hang out with boys, that’s awesome.’”
Flavin is right – but she could have also noted that Hollywood is one of the primary sources of transgender propaganda, as well. Elon Musk, who has a transgender-identifying son, recently declared war on Netflix due to its transgender content targeted at children, triggering a boycott that has cost the streaming service over $15 billion thus far. Plenty of movies and TV shows have fixated on “trans kids,” including (but not limited to) Anything’s Possible, A Kid Like Jake, Cowboys, and The Babysitter’s Club. Celebrities are often spearheading LGBT ideology, and so it is no surprise that many of their children bought in.
The fact that Jennifer Flavin was willing to speak so freely about this subject, despite the potential for backlash, is yet another indication that the transgender movement is losing its censorious grip on the minds of establishment elites. If you can tell the truth in Hollywood, things are changing, indeed.
