In the adjacent post I quote the Department of Justice press release on the federal case brought against “Minnesota man” Abdihmahat Bille Moahamed. The press release includes a copy of the criminal complaint and underying FBI affidavit in the case. Paragraphs 38-43 of the underlying affidavit set forth the resolution of state charges in three of the rape cases against Mohamed. It understates matters considerably to say he got nothing more than a slap on the wrist. The criminal complaint alleges federal kidnapping charges in connection with the the rapes of Victim 1 and Victim 5 as detailed in the affidavit.
