If you’re like many conservatives, you grew frustrated over the last few years as House Republicans kept investigating corrupt activities by the members of the Obama and Biden administrations—and Ole Joe himself—yet nothing would ever happen except for “strongly-worded” letters being sent out.
As Barack Obama once said, “elections have consequences,” and since Republicans were out of power, Teams Obama and Biden just swept all the lies and malfeasance under the rug.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, we may see some actual consequences for bad behavior, and former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey may be soon be served some accountability pie, according to a report:
Former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey are under criminal investigation for potential wrongdoing related to the Trump–Russia probe, including allegedly making false statements to Congress, Justice Department sources told Fox News Digital.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe referred evidence of wrongdoing by Brennan to FBI Director Kash Patel for potential prosecution, DOJ sources told Fox News Digital.
The sources said that the referral was received and told Fox News Digital that a criminal investigation into Brennan was opened and is underway. DOJ sources declined to provide further details. It is unclear, at this point, if the investigation spans beyond his alleged false statements to Congress.

Fox Digital said they were not privy to the exact details of the investigation, just that it was underway. They did note however that a source used the word “conspiracy,” which could spell serious problems for the duo.
Comey and Brennan are two of the more odious, slippery high-level officials you’ll ever see. Comey, who likes to pretend like he’s some modern-day saint, recently found seashell art on the beach that spelled out “86 47”—which obviously means “Kill Trump” —posted it to social media, and then acted surprised when he was called out and claimed he had no idea it meant that. Yes, a former FBI head actually said this.
More importantly, however, is the fact that Comey and Brennan were fingered in a Wednesday CIA assessment as being key players in the Russia Collusion-Steele Dossier hoax to try to ruin Trump. As RedState’s Bonchie wrote:
…Brennan, [Former DNI] Clapper, and Comey were more than willing to follow Obama’s order while sanctimoniously lecturing everyone else about respecting the very institutions they were bastardizing for political gain. Call it a soft coup or something else, but it was a direct attempt to undermine the votes of the American people.
