Richmond Park has been named as the UK’s most popular walking destination, attracting 192,000 searches on social media, according to new data. While the London destination was number one, it was spots in Scotland that dominated the list, including routes in Edinburgh.
UK walks were analysed on TikTok, outlining which routes have captured the attention of users seeking outdoor adventures, and the findings could help you decide where your next UK holiday should be.
The seven-mile circular walk through London’s largest Royal Park topped the list, offering scenic views and expansive green spaces away from the capital’s busy centre.
The route can be shortened to three or four miles for those preferring a less strenuous option. All 10 trending walks identified in the study by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts feature parking facilities, making them accessible for drivers planning summer excursions.
