The Tapper Dossier | Power Line

Today is the official publication date of the new book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson on the cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline from those (like Tapper) who couldn’t or wouldn’t see what was in front of their nose. The Free Beacon’s Andrew Stiles has now arrived on the scene with “The Tapper Dossier: How the CNN ‘Journalist’ Covered (Up) the Biden Cover-Up—Before Writing a Best-Selling Book About It.” Subhead: “The famously thin-skilled news star has hired a top PR guru to help him fend off allegations that he’s profiting from hypocrisy. Unfortunately for Jake, there are receipts.”

It makes for painful reading. If you have a tolerance for a review of Tapper’s contribution to the degradation of reality in his work at CNN, I recommend a full reading of Stiles’s chronological account. Alex Thompson could have made a valuable contribution to the story if he had interviewed Tapper about his own role in the cover-up and reported on it. Biden et al. could not have pulled it off (to the extent they succeeded) without the media’s active cooperation. Tapper was a key “cooperator.”

Stiles’s story is accompanied by the video compiled by Thaleigha Rampersad. The video provides a modest sampling of Tapper’s contribution to the cause.

Quotable quote: “I think that you were mocking his stutter.”
