Let’s put to rest once and for all any last thoughts that Renee Nicole Good, the anti-ICE protester who was shot and killed Wednesday after attempting to run over an ICE officer in Minneapolis, was an innocent bystander. Far from, in fact, as new video that came out Saturday proves.
This latest video shows what happened in the minutes leading up to the shooting. In it, you can see clearly that Good has positioned her Honda Pilot in such a way that it impedes the traffic flow near the area where federal law enforcement officials were carrying out immigration activities. Not only that, but Good proceeded to lean on her horn for almost the entire video, which is over three minutes long, and giddily dances along to her noise pollution from the driver’s seat.

It’s obvious from the new video that Renee Good and her “wife,” Rebecca, were there to make trouble. They didn’t just happen upon the scene, they were there deliberately to disrupt ICE from arresting illegals, just as they were trained to do.
Here’s what I see in this new footage: Renee has positioned her Pilot in such a way that she’s blocking traffic a little ways up the road from the ICE activity. We know Renee was the driver that day, so the empty front passenger seat means Rebecca was already out of the car recording ICE up close. As Renee makes a nuisance of herself with the honking and dancing – and drives a nearby dog crazy – Rebecca makes a nuisance of herself recording and likely taunting the agents.
As normal people drive through the area and let the agents do their jobs, Renee, instead, backs up into the position we’ve seen in the previous videos. Rebecca comes running up to the car, leading to the confrontation where, among other things, Mrs. and Mrs. Good taunt and belittle the agents. Agents were attempting to remove Renee from her car when Rebecca foolishly escalated things by urging Renee to make a run for it.
The new video cuts off right before Renee drove toward the agent, but we got an up-close look at that with the video that came out Friday:

Is it not the ultimate in white privilege to think you can drive your vehicle at a federal law enforcement officer without there being any consequences for your actions?

The totality of the evidence seems to point to the fact that Renee Nicole Good was no innocent bystander. She, as we learned, had been trained how to disrupt ICE operations through her association with a local “ICE Watch” group, a group alleged to have encouraged the use of vehicles as weapons. Like any good foot soldier who acts only on emotion, she showed up Wednesday determined to be a problem and paid a very high – and completely avoidable – price for not thinking rationally.
