Tommy Robinson LIVE: Ex-EDL leader shouts ‘he came at me’ as man unconscious in St Pancras | UK | News

Tommy Robinson was jailed in October 2024, receiving an 18‑month sentence after admitting repeated breaches of a 2021 High Court injunction that barred him from repeating false claims about Syrian refugee Jamal Hijazi.

The breaches included making a documentary titled “Silenced” and sharing defamatory material on social media and at a public rally.

In April 2025, his appeal against the sentence was dismissed, though judges noted he could reduce his time if he demonstrated compliance.

In May 2025, the High Court ruled that he had shown a “change in attitude” and purged his contempt by removing offending content and pledging future compliance, leading to a four‑month reduction of his sentence.

He was released from HMP Woodhill on 27 May 2025, having served the remaining punitive portion of his term.
