Ilhan Omar’s daughter Isra Hirsi was arrested for participating in an anti-Semitic riot at Columbia. Now she is weighing in on the violence in Los Angeles:

That “colonial empire” stuff is stupid, obviously, but it is dogma on the left, and is taught at benighted institutions like Columbia.
Of course, parents are not necessarily responsible for the misdeeds of their offspring. But in this instance, I don’t think it is a stretch to assume that Hirsi comes by her hatreds naturally. She hates Israel and she hates America. Those two nearly always go together. And, based on her record in public life, it is fair to say that Ilhan Omar, too, hates America as well as Israel.
