Trump appears to struggle to walk straight after Air Force One U-turn | US | News

A concerning new video has emerged showing President Trump appearing to walk unsteadily across a tarmac as he arrived at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday.

Several videos of Trump traversing a red carpet at a Swiss air base have sparked worries about the president’s wellbeing, as he seems to have difficulty maintaining a straight path.

One clip shows Trump apparently struggling to walk in a direct line on the red carpet, drifting towards the edge before correcting himself and heading back towards the centre.

Another video, shared by the official White House Rapid Response X account, displayed a side angle of Trump walking rigidly towards “the Beast,” the president’s sophisticated armoured vehicle.

Social media users were swift to describe Trump as “feeble.”

“He looks feeble these days, and he’s behaving in increasingly alarming ways. He seems to be more and more delusional, and instead of even pretending to make Americans’ lives better, he’s out there babbling about how his feelings are hurt because he didn’t get a Peace Prize and he’s gonna make people pay. How are people still okay with this guy? ,” wrote one X user.

Other users proposed the president undertake exercise to build up his legs.

“He needs strength training in his legs and upper body. He’s walking favoring his left side… muscle imbalance… simple lightweight maneuvers will make everything feel better. Just saying,” another X user commented. Trump delivered an extensive address at the forum, occasionally drifting from discussions about affordable housing for Americans to expressing his ongoing ambition to secure control of Greenland, whilst a gathering of European leaders and prominent guests looked on.

During his remarks, the president insisted that NATO shouldn’t stand in the way of the U.S. taking control of Greenland.

“What I’m asking for is a piece of ice, cold and poorly located,” Trump said, declaring of NATO: “It’s a very small ask compared to what we have given them for many, many decades.

“This enormous unsecured island is actually part of North America,” Trump said. “That’s our territory.”

Air Force One reversed course shortly after taking off for Davos because the flight crew identified a minor electrical fault on the aircraft, which reportedly included a brief loss or flickering of cabin lights, according to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

In line with standard safety procedures for presidential travel, the pilots opted to return to Joint Base Andrews as a precautionary measure rather than proceed with the transatlantic journey.

After touching down safely, President Trump and his delegation transferred to an alternative military aircraft and proceeded onwards to Switzerland.
