Tube strikes LIVE: London Underground in chaos as TfL issues severe wa | UK | News

London’s Underground network is at a standstill today, Monday, September 8, 2025, as a major strike by the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) disrupts all Tube lines, including Bakerloo, Central, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, and Waterloo & City.

The strike, running from September 7 to 11, stems from disputes over pay and working conditions, with no services operating before 8am or after 6pm.

Transport for London (TfL) reports little to no service across the network, urging commuters to complete journeys by 6pm.

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is running but faces disruptions at shared stations. Elizabeth Line, Overground, and buses remain operational but are expected to be overcrowded.

TfL advises checking travel updates and planning alternative routes to mitigate the impact.
